Boasting 30m of exceptionally strong 4.8mm galvanised steel cable, Abtech Safety's TORQ Max Fall Arrest Recovery Winch has been designed to handle even the most rigorous fall arrest/rescue operations.
The aluminium casing offers optimal durability, this device capable of handling loads of up to 140kg, even when only weighing 23kg itself.
Conforming to both EN 360 and EN 1496, this fall arrest winch should be anchored above the user, with the retracting line paying in and out of the housing as the user moves. Should a fall take place, the brake automatically engages, arresting the fall with a controlled deceleration.
The AB30RT has a built-in integral winch mechanism, that enables a second person atop, capable of raising/lowering the user to a safe area. This model is also compatible with Abtech Tripods.
