Pewag PLAW Prolift Alpha Metric Thread
The Pewag PLAW Prolift Alpha Metric Thread is a 360˚ rotatable lifting point. The load ring can be loaded to its full capacity throughout the 130˚ load range and can be positioned at the required angle of load via the patented interchangeable spring clip. The 10.9-grade special hex head bolt is interchangeable and is secured within the body forging. The bolt is 100% crack detection tested and has a VI-Free protective coating applied to the lifting point in order to protect against corrosion. The head of the bolt is marked with the lifting point working load limit and thread size on all lifting points.
PLAW lifting points have a safety factor of 4:1 against breakage in all directions within the 130˚ load range. Each lifting point is marked during manufacture with an individual serial number which allows full product traceability. The PLAW range is available with either a Metric or UNC thread and can be supplied with custom thread lengths on request. Each lifting point is supplied packed with a user manual which includes load tables for the various applications of use.
