Probst RVD 4.5-ECO Concrete Pipe Lifter
SAVE 50% ON TIME WHEN PIPE HANDLING
Due to sheer size, lifting and transporting concrete pipes has historically been a challenging task – until now.
Thanks to Probst’s continual innovation, the RVD 4.5-ECO Concrete Pipe Lifter has become the ‘go-to’ application for undertaking this strenuous task easily, efficiently, and safely.
More Lifting Power: The revised and more compact design packs a bigger punch with an increased working load limit of 4500kg (previous 4000kg), and the innovatively flexible blueprint means that the RVD-4.5-ECO pipe lifter can be simply attached to any excavator via an integrated, universal flange plate, using a quick-hitch coupling (not included)
Ease of Operation: There’s no need to loop the tubes with belt or chains, as the mechanical clamping mechanism built-in to the RVD specifically prevents the tubes from slipping. The driver simply positions the spigot end of the pipe to be installed with the pipe installation mandrel on the bell end of the pipe already in the trench. Pipes are then joined together using the relevant force.
Optimal Safety: No onsite personnel are required for pick-up and put-down of heavy concrete pipes, therefore, reducing the risks of potential injury, particularly hand injuries of the past.
*PLEASE NOTE: A minimum pipe weight of 600kg is mandatory for proper operation of the clamp
