StraightPoint Wireless Loadshackle
Perfectly suited to applications with low headroom or for extremely heavy lifts is the Straightpoint Loadshackle Wireless Shackle Load Cell. Manufactured up to capacities of 120tonnes from a Crosby G2130 or G2140 safety pin shackle, larger capacities up to 400tonnes are manufactured from GN Rope Fittings shackles. (Capacities up to 3000t on special request).
Available in long-range 2.4Ghz with a 700m range for use with the Straightpoint HHP Handheld Plus display or with load monitoring software (call our sales team for more information) alternatively available with Bluetooth output which can be connected to any smartphone running the SP HHP app with a range up to 100m.
Each SP wireless shackle load cell is fully proof load tested and then fitted with a hard-anodised aluminium enclosure which houses the electronics. An internal chassis housed within the aluminium enclosure provides IP76/NEMA6 environmental protection which renders the SP Loadshackle weatherproof even with the battery cover missing.
Only the more innovative technology has been used to create the SP Loadshackle, as standard, it is equipped with an internal antenna that transmits an update rate of 3Hz and this can easily be configured to run at speeds up to 200Hz when required for dynamic load measurement.
Powered by four AA alkaline batteries and available with a full range of wireless accessories such as signal boosters, LES scoreboards and base stations with analogue (4-20mA, 0-10v, 0-5v) or digital (RS232/485, Modbus RTU, and ASCII) outputs.
