Designed for vehicle load monitoring, emergency services and rescue and salvage operations, Straightpoint have developed a 25kN wireless tension load cell (Towcell) engineered to allow increased safety and the avoidance of costly overloads through providing real-time monitoring of tensile towing forces during recovery, clearance and salvage scenarios.
Towcell has a rugged structure, although lightweight and compact, and is designed for easy installation onto any tow bar in just seconds.
Modelled on the classic ‘RadioLink Plus,’, Towcell is manufactured from aircraft-grade aluminium with an unrivalled strength to weight ratio, while the separate internal design structure means that the internal electronic components are IP67 and NEMA6 protected.
Fitted with conventional AA alkaline baterries, Towcell offers an incredible 500hrs lifecycle.
